Eligibility
Hack the Ridge is open to high school students only. Participants must be enrolled in a secondary school in Ontario, Canada as of December 9th, 2023 in order to be eligible for prizes.
Project and Submission Requirements
You are not allowed to work on your project before the Hackathon date of December 9, 2023. Projects started before this date will be disqualified and ineligible for awards.

1st Team Overall - $1000
2nd Team Overall - $400
3rd Team Overall - $200
Best Solo Hack (Male) - $500
Best Solo Hack (Female) - $500
Best UI, Best Pitch, Most Creative, Most Complex, Most Feasible - $50 each
Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes will be determined based off of the overall scores of each hack and awarded to the highest scoring teams. The criteria are precisely outlined in the Judging section.
Other Runner-up prizes will be scored independently by the judges' discretion during the deliberation process.
